If you want to learn how to use details and elevate your style, you first need to change the way you look at yourself in the mirror.
Every one of us has something we might want to change. But style is not about perfection.
Let’s not strive to be perfect. Let’s be extraordinary.
Style will not change our height, hips or tummy. But it can change how the entire outfit looks — and often how we feel in it.
I keep hearing that a tummy should be hidden. That a belt is not for every body type. Or that brooches are out of style.
But I do not care about what is fashionable or trendy right now. I do not care whether a body is larger or smaller. And I certainly do not care whether a tummy is ‘suitable’ for a belt.
All I care about is whether I can elevate any body in any outfit using what I call details.
You see them every day on this account in my outfit Reels. And perhaps you can already answer the question:
What makes an outfit different?
Yes. It is the detail.
It is because of details that you watch transformations of ordinary outfits here every day. And you can bring many of them into your own wardrobe and apply them to clothes you already own.
So in front of the mirror, let’s not focus on what we cannot change in that moment.
Let’s focus on what we can change.
Sometimes a few minutes, a differently styled sleeve, a belt, scarf, brooch or another small detail is all it takes — and suddenly the whole outfit feels completely different.
And that is exactly what The Outfit Blueprint is about.
You do not have to change everything. Sometimes one change is enough.
